uncomfortable to sleep for 6 days stay, that your bedsheet and pillow case are not change.

Good location and the room is spacious.

For my 6 nights stay they never change the bedsheet and pillow case, and No toiletries and you need to rent a towel.

They called the police to ask me for more money! It was the wosrt exprerience i ever got in a hotel. I stayed here 2 nights in a deluxe room with high price and havent got any ideas why there was no free breakfast for me, and the room (in another building, not in the hotel) was so so, not deserved the price. When i checked out, because my stomach had problem, i was late about 15-20 mins, and the reception asked me to pay more money, 200 Taiwan dollars. I said i would pay if their manager come and talk with me, i will pay him, i’ve stayed over 100 hotels from 2stars to 5stars and never been in the situation like this before. They called the manager and they said he did not pick the phone, i had to wait. I waited about 30mins and could not wait anymore, i had to go to Taipei, and the most ridiculous thing happened - the receptionists called the police to make me pay. 200 is nothing, very few - around 7 usd, but it was a shock when they were so cruel with their guest, just because of 200 Taiwan dollar. When 2 police men came, they even surprised and laughed about the story, and they asked me gently if i could pay for the hotel and then complained online later, because it’s bad service and not worth waiting, and the manager still did not pick the phone or appear. I couldnt believe there is a hotel like this in Taiwan. Amazing!

Very value for money for two people, luxurious for the dormitory price that you're paying.

The room was spacious for 2 people, had a comfortable king-size bed and a bathtub. Really value for money.

The location was a slightly more than 15-min walk from the railway station/ bus terminal. There was a cigarette smoke stench lingering in the hallway (but fortunately not in the room) which didn't bother us too much.

The park is right in front of the property.

The walk from Taichung train station wasn't exactly smooth-sailing, especially if you have a lot of luggages. The pavement was of different heights from one house to the next!

The room (and the bed) are spacious.

The room (and the bed) are spacious. There is water boiler, coffee and tea bags in the rooms.

The staff is not helpful. The information provided in insufficient and you have to probe for more. You have to schedule cleaning services otherwise the room is not cleaned. The installations though reasonably clean are old with much used carpet and dark furniture

Nice location, opposite with a beautiful river. Old hotel but clean

Love the location, just across the street and you will have an amazing view of the river. Close to the bus, about 5-10 mins

The room spacious and the bed large and comfortable.

The room spacious and the bed large and comfortable. The room came with individually controlled AC unit. The staff was helpfull and spoke english. Check in and ckeck out is done next door.

The facilities are aged, I had to turn off the refrigerator in my room because it was so noisy.

Enjoyed this place

We loved this hotel. The room was big and comfortable. Staff were good. We liked the location. Breakfast was good for us. It had a certain charm to it and we just liked it. Hired the bicycle through them which is free (you leave a deposit (1000twd) and a passport) which is really cool.

Big room, good location, low price. Everything worked fine and it had all room amenities.

Nothing bad really, if you want something newer or nicer then you can pay for it.

Quite easy to find, near bus station.

The road outside at night were very dark, didn’t went out that night staying at the hotel. Have to check in at another building and stay at another building.
